The last pick up date for the Certificate of Completion, JACKETS, awards for Overall, Masters and Age Groups and the Highflyer awards to those who qualify has passed. Distance Challenge Registration
The 2012-13 Austin Fit Magazine Distance Challenge Registration is now CLOSED for the 2012-13 series. The 2013-14 series registration will open by Early August, 2013.

The Challenge
The Austin Fit Magazine Distance Challenge is a series of six races starting in October 2012 with increasing distances leading up to the February 2013 LIVESTRONG Austin Marathon & Half Marathon. Participants sign up for the series (separate from signing up for each race) to compete against personal goals and for awards for Overall, Masters and Age Groups (M & F). Participants in the series receive special running gear, get special treatment at each race, enjoy a series-end celebration party and have a lot of fun.

Runners Benefits
All registered participants will receive:
•· A custom printed long sleeve tech running shirt.
•· One Year FREE membership in ARC (non ARC members only)
•· Use of the Austin Fit Magazine Distance Challenge VIP tent found at the finish
area of each race. There will be beverages, special premiums and other fun stuff.
•· Invitation to the Celebration Party in March.
All participants who complete the series will receive:
•· A custom printed runners jacket
•· A Completion Certificate
•· Additionally, trophies will be presented for Overall, Masters and Age Groups in 5-year increments, both M and F. Trophies will be presented for both the Full and Half Track Series options.

Beneficiary
Again this year all net proceeds of the series will be donated to The Trail Foundation. This worthwhile organization continually makes the trail around Lady Bird safer, more attractive and more functional. You should feel good that a portion of your registration goes to a group that benefits most runners.
